Leadership has nothing to do with rank or title.

I know many people who sit at the highest levels of organizations who are not leaders.

We do as they tell us because they have authority over us,

but we don't trust them and we wouldn't follw them.

And yet I also know many people who sit at very low levels of organizations that have no formal rank and no farmal authority.

and yet they've made the choice to look after the person to the left of them and the person to the right of them,

and we would trust them and follow them anywhere.

Leadership is the responsibility to see those around us rise.

It's the responsibility to take care of those around us.

That's what leadership is.

리더십은 우리 주변의 사람들이 성장하는 것을 봐야하는 책임감을 뜻한다.

책임감은 우리 저변을 돌봐야 하는 것이거 리더십이런 그런 것이다.

🧾나의 한 마디

그저 내 말을 따르라 혹은 아무것도 안 하는 '리더'들을 많이 봐왔다.

오히려 조금은 거칠더라도 조직을 잘 뭉치고 이끌어 가는 사람이 좋은 리더가 아닐까.

지금 회사에 그런 사람이 있다.

직책은 리더이지만 전혀 리더행세를 하지도 않고 리더라고 보기도 힘들 정도로 수준 낮은 사람이 있다.

저런 사람이 있어 조직이 좀을 먹고 그 밑에 사람도 그에 따라 행동하는 것을 보면 둘다 수준 낮은 사람이라는 생각밖에 들지 않는다.

조직은 나만 생각해서는 안 된다.
