So I think we have to change metaphors. We have to go from what is essentially an industrial model of education, a manufacturing model, which is based on linearity and conformity and batching people. We have to move to a model that is based more on principles of agriculture. We have to recognize that human flourishing i s not a mechanical process; it's an organic process. And you cannot predict the outcome of human development. All you can do, like a farmer, is create the conditions under which they will being to flourish

우리는 인간의 번영이 기계적 과정이 아니라 유기적 과정임을 자각해야 합니다.

인적발달 결과는 예상할 수가 없지요.

할 수 있는건 오직 마치 농부처럼 번영하고 번창할 수 있는 조건과 환경을 만들어 가는 것입니다.

자연스러움이 필요하다.

인간은 저마다 생각이 다르므로 모두 동일한 교육, 삶의 방식을 강요하는 것은 너무나 강력한 폭력과도 같다.

각자가 생각하고 바라는 바를 잘 실현할 수 있는 환경이 필요하다.
